The Munchies: Cannabis-Infused Chocolate Covered Marshmallows, In The Shape Of Mickey Mouse

Movies & Munchies: The Best Things To Watch On Disney+

Infusing chocolate with cannabis is easy peasy. You can also buy some from your favorite online retailer or dispensary to make things easier and lighter, but we wanna go through the process with you.

If you have cannabutter on hand, cannabis-infused chocolates are one of the simplest recipes to learn. Feel free to stop there and keep some of these treats around for when needed, or you can melt them down to cover your favorite snacks or make even better treats. Like the one we will make today!

Ingredients

You will need:

  • 1⁄3 cup cannabutter at room temperature
  • 4 cups melting chocolate
  • Double Boiler or a tall wall pot and a bowl
  • Candy molds or ice cube trays

You will need a box or bag of marshmallows to cover with the chocolate.

You can also choose to cover any other sorts of savory or sweet treats. If you want, you can add ½ a cup of heavy cream to make a cannabis-infused chocolate dipping sauce which will also surprise your friends!

Process

  1. Over medium/low heat, add water to your double broiler. When the water begins to boil, reduce the heat to low.
  2. Stir in 2 cups of chocolate for 30 seconds.
  3. Stir in the remaining 2 cups of chocolates until mostly lump-free.
  4. Stir in the cannabutter until it is completely melted.
  5. Pour the melted cannabutter into your candy molds.
  6. Refrigerate the chocolates until they have hardened.
  7. When the chocolates are ready, remove them from the molds and place them in an airtight container in the refrigerator.

Once you have your cannabis-infused chocolate ready, you can get as creative as you want.

In order to make the Disney+-themed Mickey Mouse treats, you need to cut some marshmallows in half and melt them onto a regular one to add to the ears. You then cover them with chocolate by putting them on a stick and dipping them, which can also be done before letting the chocolate harden in the process above.
