Tyson is back and better than ever with his second cannabis venture.
The iconic boxer and entrepreneur Mike Tyson is making his big return to the cannabis industry with his new company, Tyson 2.0. The company will sell the highest-quality and Tyson-branded cannabis products sold at multiple price points and will be led by two of the cannabis industry’s top leaders, Adam Wilks and Chad Bronstein.
Tyson 2.0 will also partner with Columbia Care Inc, one of the country’s largest cannabis cultivators, manufactures, and distributors. The products will be sold in all legal markets where Tyson 2.0 operates. In addition, consumers will be able to find Tyson 2.0 products through Columbia Care’s dispensary network and wholesale to other individual retailers.

“Celebrity sponsorship is one of the most effective ways to build an immediate product and brand recognition. Influencers have driven some of the most successful brands, from sneakers to alcohol and now cannabis. Mike Tyson is creating a completely different and authentic experience and has positioned himself as a true ambassador for cannabis products. We are grateful for the trust and confidence Mike has given our vast industry experience,” said Jesse Channon, Columbia Care’s chief growth officer, reported by Cision, PR Newswire.
In the same report, Tyson had lots to say about his second time around in the cannabis industry. “Cannabis has always played an important role in my life. My vision for Tyson 2.0 is to make high-quality cannabis products available to consumers at various price points. With Adam and Chad’s leadership, I am confident that the Tyson brand of products will exceed market expectations,” he explained. “Cannabis has changed me for the good both mentally and physically, and I want to share that gift with others who are also seeking relief. With Columbia Care in our corner, we will reach so many people and deliver the high-quality cannabis products they’ve been searching for.”

Co-leader of Tyson 2.0 Adam Wilks has been a frontrunner in cannabis experience, operations, and retail licensing. He was recently CEO of the international cannabis retail chain One Plant and was also chief officer of operations at venture capital firm Sol Global. In terms of retail licensing, Wilks spent over a decade developing brands like PinkBerry and Cold Stone Creamery.
Other co-leader Chad Bronstein will act as chairman of Tyson 2.0. He is currently CEO and founder of the leading cannabis digital marketing and compliance solutions technology company Fyllo. With Chad’s leadership, Wilks’ experience, and Tyson’s vision, the trio knew that something big was about to come from their latest partnership.
“Tyson 2.0 will combine Mike’s star-power and love of cannabis with my experience licensing and commercializing brands – both cannabis and other consumables,” explained Wilks. “Consumers want high-quality products that their favorite celebrities use firsthand. Tyson will do just that.”
