Not every passport is the same.
Did you know that all countries are allocated a specific number of destinations they are allowed to visit? Thanks to the data from the International Air Transport Association posted by The Henley Passport Index, we’re able to get a clearer view of which passports are the most valuable in terms of travel destinations.
The Henley Passport Index is the original and definitive ranking of the world’s passports based on the number of destinations these citizens can travel to without the need for a visa. The data given from IATA spans over the past 16 years and includes 199 different passports and 227 travel destinations. The ranking is updated quarterly and meant to give citizens a better understanding of where their passport lands on the global mobility spectrum.
Below, you’ll find a ranking of which top countries are able to visit the most destinations worldwide.
