Stoned In Chile: The Brother Who Laced His Sister’s Wedding Cake

The differences in weed laws from country to country are astounding.

A recent TikTok posted by @alvaroelias_ showed how he infused a layer of his sister’s wedding cake with cannabis. The wedding was in Santiago, Chile, where weed is decriminalized. 

Instead of guests calling the cops and complaining about the infused cake, like in the recent incident in Florida, he told Jam Press that guests were grooving out all night long. 

The brother responsible for lacing his sister’s wedding cake was 29-year-old Alvaro Rodriguez, whose TikTok has already received 2.2 million likes. 

While Sak Noel’s “Loca People” plays in the background, Rodriguez takes us through the process of infusing a cake layer with weed. We see his family and friends dancing and smiling, even looking for some munchies. 

The best reaction came from his aunt, whose back was hurting the whole night. “Two hours after eating cake, her pain disappeared, and she was up dancing like a teenager.”

Out of respect for the guests, everyone knew that one layer of the cake was infused with cannabis. The “magical” layer was put aside for adult use only. 

The bride was entirely on board with bringing that THC-infused experience to her big day. Funny enough, the TikTok referred to the cake as “magical,” which spurred some confusion in the comment section. 

“I thought by magical, he meant that it had glitter or something,” one TikTok user wrote. 

Magical might mean something different depending on your country or state’s cannabis laws. 

One thing is for sure weed weddings are popping up left and right. 

Our advice? Give your guests a heads up that infused dishes will be served, or you may be in for a bad trip.

Edibles are no joke for someone who does not consume them regularly, but they are sure to keep the party going when consumed responsibly.
