Palm Springs is calling; vacation and serene seshes await.
If there’s one thing all cannabis connoisseurs can agree on, it’s that smoking in nature is a top-tier experience.
While we give props to those in colder climates who still find ways to sesh in the great outdoors, there’s truly nothing better than a toke under the hot sun.
We wanted to take our readers to sunny and scenic Palm Springs, introducing you to our favorite activities to do and some quality places to hit up after or for a sesh.

There are countless trails in Greater Palm Springs, but we suggest you head to the Cactus to Clouds Trail. This trail has one of the greatest elevation increases in day-hike routes throughout the country, with a net elevation of 10,300 feet. The trail begins in Palm Springs and ends in San Jacinto Peak; it’s also 32 miles long, but feel free to turn back if it gets too steep for you.

Whether you’re heading to Palm Springs for one night or a week, our favorite hotel is the Hyatt Regency Indian Wells Resort and Spa, which recently opened its new HyTides Plunge water park. All ages can enjoy fun in the sun here with 30-foot slides, a lazy river, dumping buckets, and much more. Impressively, the HyTides Plunge water park at the resort broke the record for the tallest waterslides in the Coachella Valley.

You could literally walk for about 20 minutes and land yourself in the desert, but if you’re a planner, we suggest heading to the lovely Andreas Canyon 1-mile loop trail in the heart of Palm Springs. Here you can see desert wildlife roam about, and the wildflowers thrive in their natural habitat. But make sure to have enough water on hand.

If you’re new to Palm Springs, the best thing you can do to witness the desert resort city’s vast and expansive landscape is through the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway. Here, you can ride a rotating aerial tramway that takes you well above the Coachella Valley, San Jacinto Peak, and Chino Canyon. The neat rotating cars were added in 2000 to help guests get the entire 360 view.

When the day is done, but you’ve still got some juice left in you, head 35 minutes outside of Palm Springs to the Fantasy Springs Casino. With a wide variety of games and slot machines, you’re sure to find something you can’t get enough of. The staff here is incredibly helpful and gets you set up with cards while letting you take advantage of special daily offers. You can also catch upbeat Vegas-like shows here for some extra entertainment.
